Fall CSA Shares Available

Growing Home fall CSA shares are still available for purchase for the 2010 season.  This share begins on October 15th and continues through November 6th.  The fall shares is a great way for individuals or families to try a CSA share before purchasing a full summer share.  This share is only available for purchase by check.  Please feel free to email tbrace@growinghomeinc.org for more information. 

Purchasing 2010 CSA Shares

Growing Home has three seasonal shares available for purchase in the 2010 season: spring, summer, and fall.

  • SPRING: Week of May 10, 2010 - Week of May 31, 2010 SOLD OUT
  • SUMMER: Week of June 7, 2010 - Week of October 4, 2010 SOLD OUT
  • FALL: Week of October 11, 2010 - Week of November 1, 2010

Purchasing Shares By Mail

If you would prefer to register by mail, please print the 2010 CSA Registration Form (.pdf) and mail it to 2732 N. Clark Street, Ste. 310, Chicago IL 60614 with your check(s).

Mail-in registration allows you to pay in installments (see Registration Form for more information) or to choose atypical share configurations (Spring + Fall, or Spring + Summer, for example).

If you would like to purchase an Egg Share with your CSA, please download the 2010 Egg Share Form (.pdf). A limited number of egg shares are available.

**Because it is important to Growing Home to maintain managable prices, costs for 2010 CSA shares have not increased over 2009.


Purchasing Shares Online

If you would prefer to pay online via credit card, we have made four options available.

Please note that online registration requires a fee of .03% in order to offset our processing costs (there is no processing fee for mail-in registration).

  • Spring + Summer + Fall Shares (Les Brown Farm Pick-Up)
    $770 - $25 Discount + .03% Processing Fee = $767

  • Spring + Summer + Fall Shares (Chicago-Area Pick-Ups)
    $870 - $25 Discount + .03% Processing Fee = $870

  • Summer Share (Les Brown Farm Pick-Up)
    $500 + .03% Processing Fee = $515

  • Summer Share (Chicago-Area Pick-Ups)
    $580 + .03% Processing Fee = $597

If you choose to register online, you MUST STILL print and mail in the 2010 CSA Registration Form to 2732 N. Clark Street, Ste. 310, Chicago IL 60614.

2010 CSA Scholarship

We are very grateful to our donors for giving others the opportunity to recieve fresh, organic produce. 

Scholarships meeting Growing Home's criteria are excepted on a first come first serve basis.  There are a limited number of scholarships available.  Please note that the scholarship discount of $200 is to go toward a summer CSA share, unless otherwise specified.  Please wait to send in your full CSA application until your scholarship has been approved.
